From the birth of your first child to his or her graduation day, from family photos at a reunion, to a child's debut performance in the school musical, whether it is the joy your pet brings to your life or the love and excitement of your engagement, it is important to capture both the ordinary and extraordinary moments in your life.     I enjoy learning new photography and photo editing techniques and applying what I've learned to making the memories of your moments look great! I love taking portraits, and I have had experience taking portraits for numerous situations, whether it is of soon-to-be graduate wanting senior pictures, a newly-engaged couple seeking pictures for their engagement announcements or a large family with members of all ages wanting to commemorate their time together. Currently, I focus almost entirely on natural light and lifestyle portrait photography. As a result, most of my sessions are on-location and take place outdoors such as at a park or lake or brick-lined alleyway... the possibilities are nearly endless! However, if you have a specific location in mind, just let me know, and I will see what I can do! If you are looking for something different in your portraits, then look no further. I work hard to be sure your requests are accommodated. Your photos should reflect you! Using the world as a backdrop, it is easy to personalize your portrait session. Bring your pet, favorite collection of shoes, your French horn, your best friend, but most of all…your ideas! (Almost) no idea is too crazy, and the personalization and creativity is what makes my job fun and your pictures all about you!​
         In addition to portraits, I have significant experience in event and commercial photography. I have photographed countless local theater productions and recitals. Additionally, I have photographed countless professional and well-known bands, musicians, recording artists and performance artists for local contemporary Christian radio station. I have also photographed a variety of special programs and services at multiple churches in the area. Over the past few years, my photographs have been used by fundraising calendars, as print, magazine and web advertisements by a local television network, as web and print advertising and archival images for a local radio, as a card design manufactured and sold by Hallmark stores, by clothing companies, medical companies, and more. My work in product photography has been used both digitally and in print for company catalogs, sales advertisements, promotional emails, websites, social media, trade show banners, and more. In addition to all of this, I have a personal love of working with landscape, architecture, still life, and nature photography.
